Returns, Exchanges & Cancellation Policy
Common Reasons for Returns / Exchanges
Damaged or Defective Products
- If the perfume is received broken, leaking, or has a manufacturing defect, a return or exchange is permitted.
Incorrect Items
- If the wrong perfume has been delivered, a return or exchange is allowed.
Delivery Timeline
- Standard delivery timeline is a minimum of 1 week from the date of order/payment.
- For orders outside Maharashtra, delivery may take up to 4 weeks.
- Shipping charges are inclusive in the product price.
Return Eligibility
- Perfume Decants & Testers
- Returns or exchanges are not accepted under any circumstances.
- These products are custom-made as per customer requirements.
- Retail Packs
- Returns are accepted only if the product is unused, sealed, and in original packaging.
- Returns or replacements will not be accepted if:
- Cellophane is tampered
- Product performance is not liked
- Fragrance is found weak
- Any reason other than damage, defect, or wrong item
Replacement Policy
We take stringent measures to ensure products are delivered in perfect condition. However, replacements are allowed only in the following cases:
- Product damaged during transit
- Manufacturing defect
- Wrong item delivered
Important Conditions:
- Replacement or return requests must be raised within 7 days of purchase.
- No returns or replacements will be accepted once the order is processed, except for the reasons listed above.
Replacement Process
- Email us with:
- Order Number
- Reason for return/replacement
- Wait for our confirmation before sending the item back.
- After confirmation, send the product back.
- Replacement will be shipped through our logistics partner.
⚠️ Items sent without prior confirmation will not be our responsibility.
Replacement Delivery Terms
- No extra shipping charges for eligible replacement deliveries.
- Our logistics partners will attempt delivery three times.
- If delivery fails due to:
- Recipient unavailable
- Premises locked
- Incorrect details
the customer will still be charged for the order.
Non-Returnable Items
- Perishable items
- Custom-made non-perishable items
No returns or replacements will be accepted for the above.
Product Unavailability & Service Issues
- If the replacement product is unavailable, best possible alternatives will be offered. Final choice rests with the customer.
- If the order is confirmed but cannot be shipped on time:
- Refund will be issued upon customer request
- 100% refund will be provided if:
- Product is unavailable
- Vendor fails to ship
- Delivery address is outside courier service area
Shipping Returned Merchandise
- Returned items should be shipped via courier or insured parcel post with tracking.
- Ssniff N Smell is not responsible for lost, stolen, or mishandled return shipments.
- Shipping and insurance costs are non-refundable.
Order Pricing & Cancellation Rights
- Ssniff N Smell reserves the right to cancel any order due to:
- Incorrect pricing
- Any other valid reason
- Full payment will be refunded, and the customer will be informed.
Delivery Issues Due to Customer Error
If non-delivery or delay occurs due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Recipient unavailable
- Any user-related mistake
Any additional delivery costs will be charged to the customer.
Order Cancellation Policy
Retail Packs
- Can be cancelled within 6 hours of placing the order.
- 4% bank charges will be deducted.
Decants
- Cannot be cancelled under any circumstances once the order is placed.
How to Cancel
- Cancellation must be requested within 6 hours via:
- Phone
- Social media channels
General Cancellation Clause
- If the order is already processed, cancellation will not be allowed.
- www.ssniffnsmell.com holds full authority to decide cancellation requests.
- Customers agree to accept the final decision made by www.ssniffnsmell.com and not dispute it.
